This PS3 controller was just everything that I needed. The controls are very easy to handle. To set up the turbo controls was quite easy but the button to clear the turbo functions requires a tad more effort to use. The control itself feels very weird compared to a old ps3 controller but after using it about 2-3 times, you get use to the wider spread of the controller.

First of all, I believe this product should be complemented with a good joystick, CH Fighterstick being the first choice. Of course, it can function alone, but I really can't think of any situation where one would need a throttle without a joystick.
The device is extremely light compared to similar units. The resistance, however, is slightly stronger, making some kind of fixing it to the table almost mandatory. Either that or you'll have to push it down every time you move it, so the friction does the stabilizing.
The motion is linear rather than arcing, which requires some time getting used to. I'm still not sure if this was a good decision.
There is a number of hat switches and buttons on the throttle and you'll probably never run out of them. Their placing, however, is not as good as with Cougar's throttle, for example. This is an amazing product, it truly transforms your flight sim experience. I had been used to the simple [$$] joysticks with the throttle as a little nob on the side of the thing. This, as part of a HOTAS system (like another CH products jostick), is just worlds apart -- they give you about a bazillion 4-way hat switches, which I use to increment prop pitch, fuel mixtures, supercharger stages, flaps, &c, and three buttons on the front. They also have an interesting mini-joystick, which theoretically one could use as a mouse, although I haven't gotten that to work -- but it is useful for other sorts of analog-action motions, such as the rudder control.

I had the analog game port predecessor to this throttle and it was the ONLY reason I felt any sadness when controllers all went to USB because I could not continue to use that throttle. It was solid as a rock. When my Saitek X35 control system began to give up the ghost after many years of Falcon 4 Allied Force sessions, I looked back to see what had become of the CH Throttle. The upgrade to USB has been very kind to this device.
Pros: 1) I love the feel of the throttle. It is solid in your hand, slides easily and for me all buttons are within easy reach 2) The programming software is immensely powerful! This keyboard is pretty good once you get the latest drivers. I installed the Mac drivers from the CD and nothing seemed to work. Once I downloaded the latest driver from the visikey web site everything worked fine. It would have been nice if somewhere on the install CD it told you what operating system the driver actually supported.

I bought this keyboard for a friend with extreme vision limitations. It is just perfect for him and he was so very grateful to receive it. The letters are very large and the contrast of white letters against black background is just what he needs to be able to see it well.

I purchased this keyboard locally from a low vision store then downloaded the OS X 10.5 drivers from the vendor website. I then tested on a MacBook using 10.5.6.
1. The rubber dome keys are stiff but the space bar is loose. This is not a touch typist keyboard. It's hunt and peck. 2. There are drivers for OS X 10.5 and 10.4 and XP but not for Vista. There's no guarantee that there will be 10.6 drivers. Without drivers the standard keys work, but the special keys (power, volume, etc) won't work. 3. I installed the drivers in an admin account. The installer has a bug; it doesn't install the Visikey engine as a login item for other accounts. It has to be manually added as an account specific item for each account in order for the special keys to work. 4. If you change the default system shortcuts some special keys may not work without remapping. I tested on one kb and spotlight didn't work, but it worked on another kb.
