Product Description
Hard throne surfaces can be very uncomfortable and difficult to endure for extended periods of time. Without solid support and comfort, your style and creativity can be severely impaired. The i-CON by ASD Rock Throne has a 2" thick cushion seat that creates a soft and comfortable sitting surface. The Rock Throne seat securely mounts onto a heavy-duty, double-braced tripod base with rubber feet and a non-slip height adjustment system to ensure stability while playing. For the enthusiastic drum soloist, simply 'unlock' the seat and give yourself a full 360 degree range of motion.

This is budget drum throne, build solidly enough to support adults, but not something that is high in comfort or performance. It's a vinyl covered seat, with standard foam padding. You will find the same construction type in something like a bar stool you would buy from target. My biggest complaint is slight wobble or give once assembled. This is a design issue as the throne allows you to swivel, but it's a basic bolt mechanism. A real drum throne with comfort and smooth swivel will cost hundreds of dollars. But for only 3-4 songs at a time this Rock Throne gets the job done. Just be sure to budget your expectations along with your wallet. 26 of 29 people found the following review helpful: Not for people with big butts., By = Fun: This review is from: Rock Throne Drum Stool (Accessory) I bought this thinking that it would be a good replacement for the hard, dining-room chair I've been using to play the drums for Rock Band 2. When I took it out of the box, put it together, (which, by the way, wasn't at all difficult) and sat down in it, I was slightly disappointed. It felt sturdy, (which is important because I weigh about 220) but the seat wobbled a bit. After playing a set or two on Rock Band, (about 20 minutes of play) I was really disappointed; my butt was already hurting. It became obvious that the seat just wasn't big enough to support me comfortably, and I would never be able to play for extended periods of time. I was better off using the dining-room chair. 14 of 14 people found the following review helpful: Nice Product - Decent Price, By = Fun: Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Rock Throne Drum Stool (Accessory) This feels very sterdy and cushion is sufficiant. I'm 210 and don't feel like it has a problem handling my weight. This should compliment any one's Rock Band or Guitar Hero World Tour sessions. |
