Like the first reviewer I'd agree on the trim control being too stiff. Otherwise a fantastic piece of equipment, especially for the price. After years of using a joystick,this is such a more realistic flight experience. (And I say that as someone with over 28,000 hours in real aircraft).It allows you to fly the simulator with a much higher degree of precision. It feels solid and well built and has a "feel" quite like the real airplane (at least the C-172 I normally fly). I use both MS Flight Simulator X and X-Plane 9. With the Microsoft FSX there was no calibration required - it just works right out of the box with no installation and no calibration - just plug it in. The buttons and controls are already assigned. With X-Plane it took quite a bit of calibration and assigning of functions but it was certainly worth the effort.

I'm using X-Plane on MacOS X Snow Leopard, and the CH Products Yoke (and separately reviewed pedals) work fairly nicely. I use it for instrument practice, and I think this is probably what it's best at.
The negatives are that the elevator trim wheel is a bit too stiff and too coarse for ordinary use -- it's more effective to map a couple of buttons into trim up/down -- and that the mounting brackets don't have enough grip for the desk that I use. But the negatives are quite minor compared with the functionality. The simulator would be pretty worthless without a usable yoke, and the price is certainly right.
The bundled Windows-related disk also works to keep unsightly rings off of furniture when placed under a cold drink. ;-}

Recieved my new flight yoke in record time. It was as advertised and works great. Lots of programs and aircraft in the package. I haven't even had time to use all of them. This program provides lots of options to fit everones needs.
